The Condensed Guide to Looking Like a Writer

I just love this description. I, too, cannot write without being surrounded by caffeine fumes. Although how he missed the prerequisite goatee I'll never know.

Hilarious! Good thing the professor didn't require goatees, though. Might be a problem for me. ;-)

I wandered over from E. Ann Bardawill's blog. Welcome and congratulations on a great looking blog! Do you live in Winnipeg?

I used to, and I have much family there. Currently, I live in London, ON, and will soon be moving for parts unknown.

Seriously. I have no idea where I'm going. But I can't stay here.

I spent a week in Winnipeg once. In February. The temperature never got over 0 degrees Farenheit. For an Arizona girl like me, that's mighty cold. I'd lived in coastal Maine a long time ag, so I thought I understood cold. But it's not so cold in Maine that people drive around with little plugs hanging from the front grill of their car to plug in their batteries when they stop at a restaurant.

I had Arctic Char for the first, and so far only, time in my life in Winnipeg. What a delicious treat! I've never seen it on a menu any place else.

Can't stay in London? Sounds like there's a story...
